4 reasons to live in Canary Wharf
Jan 4, 2019
As the redevelopment of King’s Cross continues, Coal Drops Yard is the latest addition to the neighbourhood – a place where art, commerce and culture come together.
Designed by Heatherwick Studio, the historic coal warehouses have been restored; uniquely connected by their touching roofs (or ‘the kissing point’) to create this new shopping district and public space in the middle of King’s Cross.
Coal Drops Yard hosts a varying mix of places to shop, eat and drink - for the full (and growing) list of what’s available, please click here.
Now it’s time for the launch party! After opening for the first-time last week, the main event begins tonight (November 1st) with four days of free parties and events to celebrate. You can find the full line up here.
The usual opening times for Coal Drops Yard are 10am to 8pm, Monday-Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays with many restaurants and bars remaining open for longer.
